All You Need To Plan And Grow A Profitable Balloon Business

We personally believe this is the best Academy we could have trained with. The knowledge and experience gained between George and Paula over many years is truly amazing. Our own business can only go from strength to strength with the continued professional development that we receive from The Balloon Academy. I have had an amazing experience with The Balloon Academy since I joined and began getting mentored by Paula and George.  Not only have I developed my skills in balloon design, but now have a much greater understanding of what it takes to not only run my business but to build it.  All the learning and development I’ve gained has in turn had a massive impact on my confidence.  Every query I’ve had or crossroads I’ve faced has been quickly and thoroughly supported by Paula and George.  Just knowing the wealth of knowledge and experience they both have, not just in the balloon and party industry but in business in general, has made my membership one of the most valuable investments I’ve made.  I didn’t find George and Paula until over a year into my journey by which time I’d wasted loads of money, started to lose confidence and picked up bad habits.  I’ve trained with numerous academies and masterclasses and hands down Paula and George are the most knowledgeable mentors across the board for this industry.

2023 was a year of mixed emotions for me, some really good highs and some lows. I must say joining The Balloon Academy was one of the best decisions I had made in 2023, as it is a network where we can gain really valuable information, exchange ideas and help each other out.  The icing on the cake and a kick up the bum for me 😂 was attending the zoom meeting a couple of days ago.  The business advice and strategy that I obtained from George and Paula was the tonic I needed to get me into gear for working on my business and not just working in it. I was so tired just before the zoom call and wasn’t going to attend – and something inside said just show up for a couple of minutes – OMG I am so glad I did, I found out that we could get a very essential part to do our exploder balloons from Go international which other suppliers had told us over the years the item was no longer available and then the great tips for running our business which certainly is the kick start I needed.

I dug deep to find Paula and George and the academy was recommended to me actually by one of the groups I was on.  I was hitting a brick wall and not progressing after 5 months of non-stop videos and reading posts on the groups following advice from people on those groups.  I’ve been in the academy now for 2 weeks and stuff I had tried over and over again and wasn’t getting anywhere, I am now achieving.  It’s such a great feeling as now I know I’m capable with the right people and advice. I’ve a very very long way to go before I’m at the standards of most of you on the group but the progress in two weeks for me personally has been phenomenal.

The Academy is definitely value for money.  I’ve been in the business a long time and I’ve a bricks and mortar shop.  Things are really really slow at the moment, plus I’ve a lot going on at home … however, my subscription to the academy would be the last thing I gave up as the membership gives me unlimited access to George’s business brain and Paula’s mountain of creativity and success in her own business.  Honestly, it’s the best gift that I’ve given my business!

Having been on level 1 and 2 with Paula in person I can’t recommend her enough. She had to have some patience with us all but she was amazing. We got loads of top tips and had alot of laughs as well.  Nothing was ever too much trouble.  You NEVER felt stupid for asking questions.  Best thing I ever did despite how sceptical I was before going.  I did it at very beginning of coming into balloons and it was jaw dropping seeing the industry as a whole, what’s out there, what’s on offer and the community.  Only thing I regret from starting out is the delay between completing training and signing up for balloon academy because its been invaluable and I’ve still not got through all the resources and such let alone keeping up with all new info but it keeps me driven and focused.  Key element that makes it work is the relationships and the relationship Paula has from a practical and supportive element with us all and George from the business side and keeping everyone in check.
